I was visiting Dallas on a trip for New Years Eve and my girlfriend made reservations a month or two in advance. We arrived 30 minutes early of our reservation. We were told that the next table any second was ours for the next two hours. In the meantime we saw the hostess stand attendee take bribe after bribe into his pocket for people claiming to have a reservation and watched them get seated before us. It was now quarter till eleven when we were seated finally. We were pulled aside and told the next booth was ours to watch the host seat someone else at the empty booth. Infuriating could not describe the experience to get a seat after we had reserved it so far in advance.
