My boyfriend and I passed this place by at least 50 times before we finally ate there- now we eat there once a week! The dinners are great, but I want to speak to the brunch. They have a real brunch menu with lots of offerings, a lovely lemony hollandaise, and rich coffee. I am always picky about potatoes, and the Bacchus potatoes define what I look for- soft and moist, stuck together with a pile of creamy caramelized onions. The rich egg dishes are rounded out by a lovely green salad. Despite the small size they don't rush you out, it seems like they'll serve you coffee all day if you let them.\r

Bacchus is overwhelmingly charming and warm in a very neighborhood kind of way, after I was there only twice the manager (or owner or ""the waiter who's always there"") recognized us and greeted my boyfriend and I with a cheerful ""welcome back"" wave.
