A hidden away oasis from the normal campgrounds. Rec Plant is a paradise to enjoy, whether it's a family reunion or a larger event of 2000 people! \r

It's an amazing place year round, with it's indoor restrooms and showers, an above ground pool, fire pits, a creek for swimming, lush green fields, beautiful trees, a sand pit for volley ball, not to mention, a pavillion and stage for entertaining!!! \r

The landowner is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, and her staff is very friendly as well. You'll feel right at home, and want to go back often!!! \r

We've been holding events there atleast twice a year for the past 7 years, and are having an event there this weekend as well!!!\r

WE LOVE REC PLANT!!!
Pros: It's a PARADISE hidden away, just 45 minutes from downtown Austin!
Cons: Absolutely NO complaints!!!
