There is something to be said about guacamole and cheese can make anything taste good but at Tampico you won't need it. Simply put, these guys are professionals. They don't just serve some gimmicky mexican food. These guys can flat out cook. They start you off with fresh salsa and chips and you always have water. The service is always accurate and efficent. I've eaten at Tampicos many many times. Before you even open the menu a cadillac margarita (on the rocks) is a must. When you do open the menu and you find you cannot make a choice, try the tacos de pollo azado and you won't be disappointed. Vegitarians shouldn't shy away they have a more than adequate vegitarian menu. I even eat the veggie fajitas and I'm not even a vegitarian. Eat the fajitas with corn tortillas and share them with a friend because there is more than you can eat.
