This place is not a place that has bad food, or even a bad wine list, it's got lovely ambiance and interesting art and furniture, but I can't even properly describe any of that because of how truly annoyed I've been at the service and the time it takes to get anything in that restaurant. I've taken part in dinner parties of 6, late lunch time, early dinner time and late dinners and they've all amounted to the same thing, excessively slow service. It takes up to 20 minutes to get a drink and your bread, and believe me, you need the bread b/c if you're even remotely hungry when you get there, you'll be starved by the time your food arrives. The staff is a little on the frazzled side so I'll attribute that to why I've never been impressed with them, but because of that flaw and the complete un-attentive nature of this restaurant, I could never truly reccommend them and I've never even been there on a busy night! I'd hate to see that.
Pros: Electic setting is something nice for downtown Brenham
Cons: So terribly slow that I cannot remember the food b/c I was so starved by the time it came.
