I had not been to Il Fornaio in a while and decided to meet a friend for a drink. The bartender, whom I know pulled out a wine glass that was stained with soapy water and poured my wine. I was bothered that it was not sparkling but decided not to complain. I took a sip and informed the bartender that it tasted like detergent. He put that glass to the side and grabbed a few more glasses and came back over to me to tell me that they are all like that. He proceeded to rinse a glass out, not wash it, put it back on my napkin soaking wet and then poured the old wine back into the new glass. I left the glass there and then when my friend arrived I ordered what she ordered and left that glass there. I was so annoyed I told her that we were not going to have dinner there. The bartender threw the wine after he realized that I was not going to drink it.\r

BY THE WAY, there is a glitch in this system because I rated this restaurant below average. One bad experience has left me bitter!!
