I eat out a lot and am usually pretty generous in my ratings, but this place was so-so. I arrived and the place had a nice crowd, but not super busy. Yet two workers were busy counting money and sorting receipts for at least 5 minutes before someone else finally seated me. I got a plate of spaghetti with brown meat sauce for 16.00. The spaghetti factory down the road had better pasta, with a salad, drink, and spamoni for almost half the price and it tasted better. I'm used to paying 27+ for steaks and chops, but the pastas and side dishes were very overpriced for average food. What drew me here was the fact that it was the odlest restaurant in Hollywood with a lot of history. For that I am glad I saw it, but once is enough. The crowd was diverse, at the bar was 2 young men, one inshorts and a dodgers jersey, talking to an older man in a suit and tie and his wife. On a plus note, the bartenders don't shy away with alcohol in martinis and mixed drinks.
