I used to live in the Raleigh area, and recently returned for a visit. My second day there, my friend and her husband asked me where I wanted to go eat for dinner. I stated that I wanted to see what all of they hype and hoopla was about regarding the Angus Barn. \r

My friend's husband called ahead to make a reservation, and he was told that we should be able to be seated promptly upon our arrival. Well, when we arrived the parking lot was PACKED...and guess what??? So was the rest of the restaurant. We ended up waiting 2 hours to be seated. While we were waiting for our table, my friends asked if I would like something from the bar. When my friend's husband returned, he returned empty handed, and his face was fire engine red. He said that the bartender was extremely nasty, and that it was in our best interest to just skip the drinks. My friend and I looked at one another in total disbelief. After we were shown to our table, the hostess gave us all dirty looks and walked away.\r

20 minutes after being seated, our waiter decides to show his face and take our order. After each of us gave our order,he would roll his eyes, and had snotty remarks for each of us. I looked at my friend, and she knew what I was thinking ""Let's get the heak out of here"". It took well over an hour for our food to be delivered to our table. I could not eat mine. It was DISGUSTING. It was cold, the meat was tough, and the potato was HARD....(not cooked at ALL in the middle.......EEEWWWW). When I explained that I wanted it sent back and redone, our waiter looked at me, gave me a snotty grin and snicker type laugh and walked away.\r

To say the very least I was appauled at how nasty the staff was. \r
The total of our bill was $4150.00........WAAAAYYYYY over priced........I will NEVER go back there again!!!
Pros: Can't think of any
Cons: Rude employees, over-priced, and reservations are useless
