Five girlfriends and I dined at Range for the first time a couple weeks ago and had a wonderful time. The entrance to the restaurant makes it appear narrow and small, but once you get past the bar area, you enter a surprisingly spacious main area. The clean-lined decor, tasteful mirrors, and thoughtful arrangement of the tables makes the restaurant seem even roomier. The scene: trendy but unpretentious, healthy but not fanatically so, an eclectic mix of couples and 20- and 30-something groups of friends.
Pros: Thoughtfully planned menu, Good for groups
Cons: Street parking only
