Last week, after a hard days work, 7 of us went to this place for a ""Boat Drink"" around 5:30pm. The first encounter was a big surly bartender sporting an attitude. We felt like we better hurry up and order or he'd bite our hands off. Excuuuuuse me! He was obviously annoyed by our presence. We got our drinks and had to move out into the patio as the tables around the bar were taken. The outside bar was full as well, and alot of people (including us)were standing alongside vacant dinner tables outside. A waitress came and told us we cannot stand there. Again bad vibes. She said we must stand next to the small crowded bar. So we did. Feeling awkward and hemmed in we moved back inside to a table right next to the bar area. Well, the waitress came back and told us we cannot sit there!!! We then said, ""OK Where would you like us to go?"" She said she didn't know. We asked her to please send over the manager so we could iron out this rediculous situation but she said that the manager was not there and that the bartender was the one who didn't want us to sit there!!! We could see the bartender glaring at us! So my friend with the tab went over to the bar to pay up because at this point we were leaving! My friend complained, of course, to the bartender and he told us to ""leave and don't come back!!! We couldn't believe it! Even the hostess seemed miffed when we asked her for the owner's contact information. Sorry!!!
Pros: Nice decor and theme
Cons: No room at happy hour. Surly staff.
