I've been going to Nicolette for a few years now, and my cut and colors are always top of the line. She is very personable, and even though I only get there once or twice a year, she always remembers me. The atmosphere is different, a lot more funky, then your typical Pittsburgh salon, so if you don't like different, then this salon is not for you. I don't mind the dog. I have observed only courtesies extended to customers, including new mothers who had to nurse their child during a cut/color job. If you don't like different and the fact that a dog is hanging out, there are other places to go. I've been very happy.
Pros: Hours and location are convenient to downtown setting
Cons: There for a long time, even for a simple cut
