We didn't know there were two C&O restaurants. That Tratoria is, apparently, further west down Washington (and solely patio seating?). The Cucina, however, is more restaurant-like in that you are inside, etc. We opted for the Cucina and weren't disappointed. We were seated right away (about 6:45pm on a Friday night). We have a two-year-old who enjoyed drawing on the paper place mats with the crayons provided at each table. Our waiter was friendly and the someone who appeared to be the owner or manager checked in with us probably two or three times about how our meal was, etc. That was nice. I ordered the fire grilled shrimp, which I thought was great. My wife had lasagna. We had plenty between us to also feed our daughter. We'll go back.
Pros: friendly service, paper place mats for toddlers to draw on
Cons: parking (they do have valet, however)
