The menu isn't super extensive but within its niche, Pies & Pints is great. A good, refreshing variety of options that goes past typical pub fare: pick a pie, pretzel, one of the soups, the awesome fries, or some combo depending on how hungry you are. As a vegetarian, I usually get the spinach and feta or the mediterranean pie. The service in the restaurant and the bar at back has always been super nice and the atmosphere is lively but relaxed. A free pool table, music, and pretty good rotating art on the walls make this one of my favorite places to kick back. They have a solid tap selection and rotate one or two seasonal beers. Smoke free before the ban, too (which tells you a lot about it depending on the kind of bar you're after).
Pros: Pies, pints, pool
