If you like AVERAGE food, you'll LOVE this place. Just expect to pay a price. \r

I tried this restaurant upon many recommendations. First, the place was massively overcrowded. Probably, comes from being in the Zoo-dis--err U-district. \r

I grew up eating lots of indian food that my dad used to make as well as many local Boston restaurants. On the east coast, I think there's probably a higher percentage of south east asians. Presumably more competition, better food on average. \r

Cedars was definitely disappointing. Food had little flavor. Asked for spicey, got some tepid junk I wouldn't serve to a guest I didn't like at my house. Since I can cook better at home, I expect more elsewhere. Also, the weird obsessive compulsive water refilling was as much annoying as it was amusing. \r

You can get away with this kinda thing in a college neighborhood as most people simply aren't going to know that food can be better than this, but I doubt this place could thrive elsewhere.\r

Pros: There are better restaurants in seattle.
Cons: Long wait, pricey, mediocre food. This is not one of the better restaurants. Sorry if you picked it.
