My husband and I went to Sparrow last night to celebrate my new job. The waitress and other staff could not have been friendlier - they were just wonderful. My husband and I shared a large haystack goatcheese salad (it was melt in your mouth delicious), the artichoke with crab fondue (good, but probably our least favorite of the items we ordered), the tapas trio (very large portions for tapas; the tapas trio could serve as a meal for one person), and the cod entree (this was exceptional - perfectly flavored and cooked). We shared the chocolate bombe for dessert. It was served with a turkish coffee mousse, which was unexpected and extremely tasty. We'll be back.
Pros: decor/ambiance, waitstaff, some perfect dishes
Cons: expect to be there awhile - great food takes time
