I have been a customer at Cartee for approximately 5 years. My daughter started taking lessons there after trying 2 other facilities that were just not to our liking. We eventually became horse owners and we could not be happier. Our horse gets excellent care. Plus my daughter is an accomplished rider. She learned more at Cartee in 6 months than she did at a facility where she rode for a year. Plus, my daughter has learned a lot from the Cartees about horse care and management. The children there learn what is involved in taking care of a horse and the responsibility that goes along with it. The Cartees made it possible for my daughter's dream to come true of having her own horse. They have always been there for my daughter and me. They stayed with me at a horse show late one night (and they had to be up early for classes at the show the next morning) so the vet could come and check my daughter's horse when we thought she was colicking. They did not have to do that. They are truly caring people - they care about the horses and their students.
