Not good Italian but great if you like seafood and pasta 8/12/2006

For an Italian themed restaurant it is awful. They have no wine selection only house wine at $5.50 glass which I am certain cost the same per bottle at a liquor store. My daughter is 3 so I ordered her spaghetti from the kids menu(seems safe enough). Instead of multiple meatballs it came with one giant unseasoned ball of meat the size of my fist. The spaghetti sauce was overly peppered thinned down tomato paste. Not an Italian spice to be found. I had the pasta mediteraneo. It was very plain in flavor. There was only a dash of mixed italian seasoning obviosly only added at the end because the flavor was not infused. My husband ordered a seafood pasta and raved about the seafood quality but did not expect the cayenne in the sauce. One last thing. Anyone who regularly eats italian knows that one is supposed to use Extra virgin olive oil for dipping breads. Not this place. They only have single filtered olive oil. Yuk! So if you want bad italian or good seafood with an abstract italian flare stop in otherwise stay away it's not worth the price. Pros: nice ambience Cons: bad value for faulty italian more
