My friend and I were in on a Monday night, when, typically restaurants are closed, and we were happy this place was one of the open ones. First things first. We were greeted by several staff, all of whom were really friendly. We both split the Imperial Pilsner, one of the finest ways to start an evening together. Our appetizers didn't let us down, either. We split the pork and shrimp dumplings and the Vietnamese spring rolls, both superb - it was all we could do to move on from the appetizers to the main course. I would have ordered something different, but every time I go there, I get the yellow curry, and it was as tasty as ever. My fried ordered noodles, too - the spicy peanut sauce was awesome.
Our only disappointment about the evening was the fact that our second round of Pilsner seemed to take an inordinant amount of time getting to our table. Whattya gonna do?
No room for dessert, but overall, Jujube remains one of my favorite restaurants in the Triangle. I recommend it wholeheartedly, and without reservations.
Pros: Tasty food, good service, great ambiance and decor
Cons: slow drinks
