This joint switched hands a few months back, and it seemed to lost it's authentic Irish vibe. I used to go to this place once a week, and was a great place to go for a cold one. Now, it doesn't have the same appeal.
The menu has grown since the previous owner, so that's a plus. But the old wooden furnature has been updated, thus removing the "feeling" the place had. Don't get me wrong - it's a nice place, but for those that have been going to Shanon's, it's not the same.
Pros: Still has a little quirkiness to it that makes it attractive.
Cons: Not really as authentic Irish as it once was
