Surin is fine but not fantastic. Also, why is there sushi in a Thai restaurant? There are many vegetarian options and it's probabaly one of the most veg-friendly restaurants in the 'Ham. The service is variable, sometimes great, sometimes sub-par. I recently asked for a side of peanut sauce and was told that I couldn't have it. When I asked for chicken satay with peanut sauce, hold the chicken, I couldn't have that either. Drinks are over priced (aristocrat martini for $10). Your best bet is to go for lunch. The lunch specials are a good deal and they can substitute tofu for any meat dish.\r
That said, the quality of the food at Surin West is very consistent (clean, hot, fresh) and they do make a mean 7-layer bar for dessert.
