I went to La Poubelle for the first time with my girlfriends last night. Many of them had been there before and had never been too impressed but were never very disappointed after leaving. I must say, this was one of the worst evenings I have ever had. The service was horrible. One waiter for about 10 tables inside the restaurant. As we were seated we were told they would try to "find" some menu's for us. 25 min. later, the waiter returned again saying that he was trying to "find" us menu's. Our appetizers came out about 4 min. before the entree's and after we had finished our empty plates sat on the table for about 15 min. The owner (i believe) was one of the rudest people I have ever spoken to and this is probably the most UN accommodating restaurant in Los Angeles. I would NOT recommend anyone going there.
