I have a 1996 960 Volvo. Went to the Volvo dealership in Manhattan. In a nutshell, they misdiagnosed my car, charged me $800 to perform faulty work, then wanted to charge me $2,200 to "fix" it. After taking it in three times.
Found Alan on the internet, read the reviews and took the car in. In four hours, he fixed the car, and we have had no problems for two weeks. He correctly diagnosed the car, performed comprehensive maintenance, and charged me a very reasonable price. To top it all off...he would not accept my money until I test drove the car. This guy is THE greatest.
Pros: Opens early (430am...Saturdays, too), KNOWs cars
Cons: None
