We had a reservation at 8pm on Saturday night but were not seated until after 9pm, and that was after approaching the hostess at 8:45 at which point she was rude and acted like I was bothering her. When we were finally seated, they were out of prime rib and the food was rushed and didn't taste that great.
I called the owner and spoke with him, and he had the nerve to tell me I should have EXPECTED to wait over an hour with a late reservation on Saturday night. Then why even make a reservation? He went on to tell me about his dining experiences at Nobu in NYC (!!!!) and how he and his wife always waited to eat there. First of all, this is Rochester, not NYC by a long shot. And 2Vine is nowhere near Nobu by an even longer shot. Pathetic.
