My brother (visiting) and I went to Ton Kiang on the recommendation of a friend - we went with the friend and her husband. All 4 of us are Asian. Of the 4 dishes we ordered (spare ribs, a claypot, shrimp, mixed vegetables) - only the shrimp dish was edible. How could they have butchered mixed vegetables? I don't know what our friends thought, but they quickly gave my brother and I the left-overs - we finished the shrimp. Now I'm very hesitant to try their dim sum or any other dishes if I ever return.
