Serving more than a few flavors of gelato, Paolo's in Virgina Highland is a great place to go after dinner for a sweet summer treat. Paolo's has been featured on The Food Network and has also been Zaggats rated, so you won't be taking a chance on a unknown with this one. Paolo's has the traditional gelato flavors as well as a line of soy based and flower flavored gelati. I had the nutella gelato and loved it. But, watch out because this is a cash only establishment and there isn't a lot of standing room in the shop. It is worth the crowd and the hassle of having to make sure you have cash. They also have dog gelato, so you can bring Fifi along for a tasty treat as well.
