My husband owns a Volkswagon, and often has trouble going to ordinary places to get brake work and oil changes. So he went directly to a german car specialist--literally. Not only were they reasonable, but they offered great advice specifically about German made vehicles. A little pricey, but worth the money, and avoiding hassle of bad uninformed mechanics. They also offer discounts. These guys were good.
