Grounds, buildings: good. Food: basic selection, average preparation. Service staff: good job. The problem wasn't them, unfortunately, it was the account manager and owner.
We had a friend as a ""coordinator"" to help us out and to keep things running smoothly. Our account manager obviously viewed her as a threat and was extremely rude to her, even going so far as to accuse her of lying when we asked about an oversight.
The cake was not at all what we agreed upon. We even provided photos of what we wanted and they were way off.
At final billing, we noticed a discrepancy. After the owner grudgingly refunded what he owed, he told us we were too difficult to work with and the account manager acted professionally.
There are other locations out there that can provide the same service without the poor attitude and service from management that Shirley Acres has.
