i took an expensive skirt to virginia cleaners for simple alterations, and the girl did it totally wrong (she didn't speak english well so maybe she just didn't understand what i said) and when i went to pick it up she didn't work there anymore and the new guy spoke NO english so someone translated, but he did a bad job, so now i have to find a REAL tailor to get it altered right. i found out a friend had pants altered there and they came out with slight wrinkles down the entire seam - he just didn't know how to sew on that fabric. and after all that they were total jerks about it too.
