I consider myself a "foodie"- I've traveled all across Europe and had many near perfect dining experiences. However, none of those compared to the perfection that was Julius Castle. I went there for my anniversary, and the staff couldn't have been more accomodating. The environment was incredibly romantic, with dimmed lights and a wine list that included my favorite Cabernet Sauvignon. The food was absolutely tittilating to the palate- I specifically enjoyed the seared foie gras appetizer, and the filet for an entree. My husband had the trio of ahi tartare and the duck, and I couldn't stop taking bites. I have eaten these dishes at many other restaurants, but they have never compared, in terms of taste and presentation. The view was outstanding, and I look forward to many, many future returns. Don't miss this experience!!
