My husband and I spent a night at Gold Lake Mountain Resort to celebrate our 5th anniversary. We arrived around 6PM on a Saturday, after a hard day. After checking in we were advised of the free wine tasting - though we were a little late for this, we wer made to feel welcome and at home. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious, though the service could have been more attentive. After a moonlit walk around the lake (bring a flashlight!), we took a dip in one of the hot pools, which we surprisingly had all to ourselves. Very relaxing. The resort is beautiful, cabins are great, and I can't wait to return!!
