I wouldn't recommend driving way across town to eat at Amaya's, but it's a great neighborhood joint. The servers are so friendly, the food is simple but always tasty, and the cost reasonable.

The previous ratings only mention the tacos, but it's worth pointing out that the other dishes are good, too. I typically order the fish or chicken plate, and they're very good.

This is also a great place to take children. The staff are very sweet to them.
Pros: tasty, reliable food, very friendly staff, inexpensive
Cons: crowded at lunch
