The Pawnshop is just about the most foolish thing in the world. First of all the website says T-shirts are acceptable. Then I go there to get turned away at the door because I'm wearing a Fedora T-shirt. If I would've paid money at a thrift shop and worn a tight shirt things would be different.
I called the lady up after being denied and asked her what was the dress code. She said no ""beach wear or athletic wear"". I asked about T-shirts and she said the word ""tight"" TWO times in her answer. So I repeated back to her, ""You can express yourself with a T-shirt as long as it is tight."" She laughed at the absurdity of trying to define free expression and said the tightness isn't a factor. But her mentioning it two times gives me a clue.
Phony.
Pros: Expensive parking, Cover, "Working girl"-style
Cons: Shirts must be tight, Microsoft pays them
