In 9 years we dined at two previous restaurants that have operated in this location. Those two went under, and this one seems to be following in their footsteps.
We hoped Sparrow would be different, but it too is on the way out. The dwindling number of diners on Friday and Saturday nights pretty much says it all. Poor menu selection, poor service, snail pace food preparation, and entrees that disappoint even the easy to please palate. The chef here must have a stake in the oil business!
Ambience can only replace food and service quality for a short time.
Like so many new places that open in Denver each year this one is just another great looking place that (eventually when they get around to it) serves below average food that is overpriced.
Pros: nice looking place
Cons: limited selection, slow slow slow, overpriced and loud
