ok, i love me some Riyadh's. i moved here from Brooklyn where there were delicious, authentic Lebanese restaurants everywhere. so i'm definitely picky. Riyadh's is the most similar and authentic i've had in PDX. BUT, i have one BIG complaint: they don't make their own pita bread!!!!! in fact, when we ordered a few pieces, we were told that six come in a bag. we're thinking it'll be some sort of paper, to-go bag. no, it was the original bag they purchased it in! tacky! G-R-O-S-S. NON-AUTHENTIC! i've never heard of such a thing! granted, i eat it cause i'm desperate, but seriously folks, it's horrible. also, it's bizarre, but it tastes like they pickle their spinach and grape leaves. GOO! gross. all in all, if i'm craving lentil soup and salad, i go to Riyadh's. if i want pita bread, i head to India Grill for some naan. Pros: lentil soup, salad, decent price Cons: PITA BREAD!, unfriendly service more
