I stumbled across Marinepolis while looking for a sushi restaurant on the Eastside. I've never been to a conveyor belt type sushi restaurant so I didn't know what to expect. I was very impressed with the value and the taste and freshness of the sushi. Sometimes there isn't a very wide variety of sushi on the belt, but that's probably due to everyone eating it so quickly even though the chefs are continuously creating more.
The biggest con about the restaurant is that it takes a while to get a seat (I'd say at least 20 minutes but don't be surprised if your wait is 40 minutes). We learned our lesson and never arrive at the restaurant starving.
The best attribute of the restaurant is the value. My husband and I have never paid more than $25 (average is less than $20) for dinner not including tips.
