theres something quasi-magical about paru's, it might have something to do with the contrast between the nasty location and exterior with the warmth and intimacy of the interior. something about being let in after ringing the doorbell already makes you feel invited, like youre having dinner at a friends house, the food is not the typical indian fare, i frequent indian restaurants all over the country and i had to ask what 80% of the dishes on the menu were, its very heavy on the carbs so u south-beach dieters might wanna stick to the side dishes like curried vegetables or masala, the flavor of everything was exquisite, and being a vegan, im always happy to see restaurants endorsing cruelty-free healthy menus, id go back here in a heartbeat, highly recommended!! ;)
