If you can get past the smoke smell when you walk in, you may be able to sit down and attempt to enjoy Maxwell's. I thankfully ordered takeout, that is once I finally got one of the 5 employees to answer the phone. Apparently, only one person knows how to answer a phone there...
I did notice if you wanted to dine in, and don't like the smell of cigarette/cigar smoke you could eat outside with a lovely view of the dumpster.
If you choose to eat there, I recommend the pre-battered chicken tenders. The ones you can buy at any fast food restaurant. Add the frozen onion rings, and you have a great fast food meal for $13.
If you are looking for a bar, maybe this is worth a try, but my advice to Maxwell's is don't advertise as a GRILL, if you are clearly a BAR.
