The bar looks cool, gets packed, and, although the drinks are over priced ($8.95 for a HOUSE frozen), its a nice place to hang on the eastside. Unfortunately the food is really bad. The salsa left a heavy onion taste/film in my mouth. It was gross. They claim to have won the salsa festival yet there is no proof on the Chronicle website. Reflecting on the taste Im confident that this is just something they say to promote themselves. Either way, it wasn't good. They also claim to be healthy. This I believe as their rice, beans, and Verde Enchiladas tasted ""healthy"", very ""healthy"". Unfortunately I wanted something that tasted, at the very least, good. Although the food is bad the bar is nice and it's a cool place to bring a large group to party. After a few $9.00 house margaritas it won't matter what the food tastes like.
Pros: Bar
Cons: Food
