Dined at Casa Tua on 3/10/06 for the first, and last, time. Reservations must be made well in advance, and the staff is not flexible. Nice ambiance, but could be much more romantic inside if they would only lower the lighting. Waiter kept interrupting my conversation with my date. I don't mind paying for a great meal, but the portions are small and the food is very, very average. So disappointing. Prices are STEEP (2 cocktails, 1 dessert, 2 salads, and 2 entrees = $200 before tip). Don't expect a traditional Italian menu...there was no pasta, risotto, etc. Just lots of meat and 2 fish options. There is no reason for all of the hype. Better alternatives exist all over Miami Beach, at much better values. One plus...excellent drinks. I will never go back.
