A better than red sauce place just enough off the beaten track to avoid the heavy North End crowds. Service is a little choppy in terms of food and wine knowledge, but generally friendly and well-paced. Highly recommended are the salads, pastas and ""the special"", which has just about everything you can imagine in it from pork to chicken to shrimp to pepporoncinis. Ingredients look and taste fresh. Prices are very reasonable for the city and portions are large. Inside, the restaurant is cozy and romantic without being cramped.
Pros: Food, Reasonable prices
