Yeah the seats are beating up and its a dive. The ambience is in your face & they kinda go out of there way to show how ""cool"" it is. The service is real, no fake smiles- just be cool and patience and they offer the same. It might be filled with people who read the cliffnotes to ""On the Road"" but the food is amazing and the price is incredibly cheap for the gigantic portion of food. I now live out of town but I always eat when go back to Austin. Its just too damn good and the atmoshpere is Austin contained to 10 tables, 2 servers, wall art and loud music. So if you are going to Austin you must eat StarSeeds- its great food (consistently) and the vibe of Austin is captured under 1 roof.
