Took my mom here a while back for a nice lunch. Dont remember food specifics other than the soups and sandwiches were perfectly lovely and reasonable. What I do remember is quite a long wait to get seated and that I was one of the few men in the cottage. I ordinarily prefer little unique places to chains and Coronado is certainly warm and homey, but in a decidedly feminine way. Petite chairs and tables aligned too closely made me, at 6'3"", feel a bit like a bull in a china shop. From what I could see, Coronado serves its niche market well and I wish them continued success - Phoenix diners benefit from having distinctive, independent choices from which to choose. It's just not my kinda place.
Pros: Homemade food, cute home with porch
Cons: crowds,waiting, have some quiche?
