Pretty quiet place and you can tell they kind of like it that way. They don't go out of their way to be over the top in any way; doors, walls, fixtures are well maintained despite their age. Rooms and hallways are sanitary for sure. However, this hotel is proud of it's age and sense of history. \r

Specific to our one night stay was a handicapped accessible room that had all the necessary customizations in the bathroom, which is important to the handicapped. Very nice wireless internet and for those without a laptop, there is a computer room that includes a printer.\r

The overall feel and character is a bit of old school pampering. The strength is in the detail, the little things. Not the newest, most sterile. But solidly clean with good service. The pool was out of service during our visit, and the restaurant was closed for remodeling.
