What a great idea -- and obviously a family affair. It's just too bad that the food isn't all that good. Of the 4 entrees at our table, all had problems. The duck lasagna I'd read so much about was a mushy mess--honestly, I couldn't find the pasta. The roasted chicken was seriously undercooked -- and so was the burger. We left with the feeling that the kitchen's good intentions weren't enough, and that this place would do better to focus on just a few things until they get them right. The wine flights were very nice, and service -- although not polished -- was OK. I'm sorry to say that with so many places to eat in Chicago, we won't be back.
Pros: Easy parking, friendly staff, nice wine flights
Cons: Poorly executed food
