I have been to Tiburon on several occasions and have usually been very pleased. I do not agree that it is the ""best in Salt Lake"", but recommend giving it a chance. In about six visits, my wife and I have been pleased with everything except for one fish dish (it was so unimpressive I can't even remember what kind of fish it was) and the duck. The service is typically very good, but there is one waiter who had served us twice who is extremely rude and snooty. The restaraunt was not busy on either occasion, but he acted like we should kiss the ground he walked on any time he graced us with his presence and that he was extremely put out that he had to refill our drinks. On each of these occasions he only had one other table. Also, the atmosphere leaves a little to be desired considering what they are going for with their cuisine. The building is extremely noisy. It seems that you can hear the conversations at the surrounding tables better than the one at your own. Although I think there are better restaraunts in Salt Lake City, I definitely think that Tiburon is worth a try.
