We've eaten at Mesa Grill once, though we've tried to eat there 3 times. The first was right after the remodel and it wasn't opening until the next day. We went back the next day for lunch and were dressed business casual, but my husband had on a baseball cap that said 'Alaska' on it and the seating girl asked him to remove it. This made him uncomfortable since he had 'hat hair'. I love Bobby Flay so I was really happy to be there. The quesadilla my daughter had was flavorful, my husband had one of Bobby's signature dishes, an eggs benedict dish. It had runny egg in it so I'm glad I didn't choose that. The salsa was good, the service was fine. We went back again the other day, midweek but without reservations (and without hat) but the same girl as before couldn't seat us for 40 minutes so we ended up going and having a wonderful meal at Spago. My take? Bobby Flay's seater girl thinks she's in Beverly Hills not Las Vegas and with her attitude, Bobby won't be here long, whereas Wolfgang Puck is more and more successful due to his excellent service staff and food. If you HAVE to go to Mesa Grill, don't wear a hat and do make reservations.
Pros: Salsa
Cons: Haughty Seater
