I dropped in for a quick dinner at Volterra last night after shopping in Ballard. I hadn't been before and I was shocked to see lights and camera crews all around the bar. The host said that Rachel Ray just finished filming a tv show. While I was eating my YUM-O Veal Tenderloin with Truffle Sauce at the bar, Rachel stood talking to the Chef just a few feet away from me. The staff were friendly and the Chef even stopped by to check and see how I enjoyed my dinner.
