are you kidding me? anyone who says this is AUTHENTIC chinese food is definitely not chinese...nor asian. i think it's fine to love the restaurant b/c of celebrity sightings and ""tasty"" food, but calling it an authentic is outright insulting (food doesn't have to be authentic to be well-seasoned obviously). also saw some other visitor attribute the small portions to asian food in general b/c asians are small. the portions are small b/c you're eating at an ""upscale hip"" restaurant, not b/c asians portion-control to stay ""small."" Try eating in the san gabriel valley for huge portions of authentic chinese food. But of course, go to Mr. Chow's if you're looking for a hip Beverly Hills celebrity hangout, nothing wrong with that. :)
Pros: celebrity hotspot
Cons: not meant to be ""authentic chinese food"" (probably stating the obvious to my fellow Native LA folks)
