Mr. Tequila is the best Mexican restaurant in the Sarasota/Bradenton, FL area. The Mexican food is authentic, great tasting, and cheap! This is the best overall restauarant in the metro area!! Convenient to DeSoto Square Mall and Cortez Rd. Very nice Mexican music, too. I've been to Mr. Tequila many times over the past 3 years or so. This is a great Mexican restaurant for real Mexicans, not just gringos. There is also a Mr. Tequila location in Palmetto. I hope there will be a location in Sarasota someday. Mr. Tequila clearly beats the competition! Very extensive menu, too. Most of the servers speak good English (but I like to improve my Spanish by speaking to the servers). Very clean place!! Clean restrooms. Big portions, too! The El Combo is the best!
