In the early 90s I visited this place with my mom and grandparents. I did not really remember the food quality. Tonight we were forced to eat here, it being the only Italian restaurant in the Heights area. My mom repeatedly complained about how she hated the food. We got there and there was no line. We were still told the wait was 30 mins and we ended up waiting over 45 minutes while other parties who had just walked through the door were seated immediately. We were all getting angry and I asked the host why everyone else was being seated, when there was the room next to us close to empty. The host got angry with us and raised his voice saying "If you would wait I'm preparing the table for you to be next right now,the next room over is reserved for a party". My mom told him she believed he didn't want to bus the tables. When seated we were neglected from the get go. It took a long time before we got our menus from when we got our drinks. I got one Pepsi refill the whole time (1.5 hours) I was there and our food took forever to come. The minestrone soup was good and the garlic bread wasn't bad either. But our spaghetti and meatballs were horrible. My mom was definitely right about this place being awful. I'll never step foot in here again.
Ps: They're very, very expensive. I mean $17-$20.00 a plate. And they're so not worth it.
Pros: The piano player was really good
Cons: EVERYTHING AND IN BETWEEN
